The role
You’ll run Ladder’s operation in one location, end to end: the clients, the cost engineers and outside experts who deliver the work, and the R&D team building the tools behind it.
What you’ll do
- Turn each incoming request into a scoped, priced assignment with a delivery date.
- Staff every project with the right cost engineers and outside experts, and keep it on schedule.
- Make sure every estimate is reviewed before it goes to the client.
- Be the client’s day-to-day contact after the sale: kickoff, questions, delivery and follow-up.
- Work with R&D: bring back what slows delivery and what clients ask for, and try new tools on live projects.
- Build the local network of clients, experts and partners.
You bring
- Experience running operations or projects in construction, cost consulting or a professional-services firm.
- Comfort with numbers, schedules and scopes of work.
- Clear communication with clients and with technical teams.
- The judgment to run a small operation without someone checking every step.
